Wealthy Clients Only

I had a lovely gentlemen reach out to me wanting to book a date. He mentioned he doesn’t make a ton of money, but he was still hoping to become a client of mine. I wrote back telling him that wealth is not an important factor to me when choosing clients, and that my only concern is whether someone will respect my rates and time. It was a little disheartening to hear someone need to justify their finances to me, because I don’t want to appear pretentious in the sense that I only cater to the wealthy. I offer a premium service at a premium rate, but whether you need to save a few months to see me or my rates are just pocket change doesn’t concern me.

Michelin stars, hotel suites, weekly dates, and opulent gifts are always nice, but so are casual restaurants, bi-monthly dates, and sweet written cards. I don’t want to give the impression that I’m unapproachable, because I’m a very warm and nonjudgmental person. Generosity comes in all shapes and sizes, but it’s only valuable to me if it’s followed by kindness and respect.
