First Euro Tour of 2024

Thank you so much to everyone who I was able to meet in Luxembourg, Brussels, Amsterdam, and Berlin on my first euro tour of 2024 this January! What an amazing way to start off the year. I met new people and reconnected with old ones, visited new cities and revisited others, ate amazing food and explored new art scenes, traveled the countryside by train, and collected several new metro cards along the way (I’m a sucker for a nice metro system). I didn’t have much time to explore as much as I’d like and the rainy weather didn’t help much either, but I’m counting the days to see more in the near future.

It was my first time in Luxembourg, and my oh my is it tiny! I was completely blown away by the free metro (and if anyone complains about it I will forever hate you), but even by foot it was so easy to walk from one side of the city to the other. Despite it’s tiny but mighty size I still need to explore all the touristy spots and maybe even the borders of the surrounding countries, which are only an hours drive away. Dinner in France and breakfast in Germany? I must practice my French before I return though, because my broken grade 2 level French is absolutely terrible. Étudie avec moi?

Next I was off to Brussels and Amsterdam, which I traveled to by train for the first time. It was only a three hour ride between each city, which I’d argue is a short ride, but the Europeans might disagree. I haven’t visited these cities in a few years, so it was so nice to be back if only for a short time. Brussels is much larger than I remember, so I hope my next trip will bring me more nights on the town. Amsterdam is just as I remembered it though: super tall people and bikes. And I mean this in the nicest way possible, but Dutch sounds like Simlish to me 😅

Berlin was my last stop, and I get the biggest rush in the city. Dirty and grungy in the best possible way. You can find food and people from all over the world here, open-minded and sexually free folk, and the diverse creative scene means there’s always something new to check out. This city definitely isn’t for everyone, but if you want to get out of your comfort zone I highly recommend take a leap. Maybe with me?

I had a small layover in the Barcelona airport, and I’m already convinced I need to return for holiday or tour at some point soon. Shall we meet on the beaches of Barcelona next?

I was fully booked this trip, and I’m so grateful for every connection that made this tour so successful. In reality I don’t actually profit much from euro tours, since the rates are so much lower and travel/hotel expenses are high. However being able to travel the world and meet kind souls makes the journey so much more fulfilling. An extra big thank you to those who booked months in advance, brought gifts and tips, and were excellent tour guides. To those who I was unable to meet I’ve already planned my return in March and April, but FMTY is always available for those who can’t wait to have me in their arms.

My schedule is quite busy until then, but the future is looking oh so bright with possibilities. Please keep a lookout on my calendar for new tour dates, and I hope we can enjoy our time together with a little more sun, warmth, clear skies, and of course endless kisses.

Also, a client told me Amsterdam has the best Chinese food. Dutch and dim sum, anyone?
